If the "Why Boston doesn\'t suck" thread existed, I\'d have plenty to post over there as well.
Without further ado
Why Boston sucks:
-Meatheads with deplorable accents and expressionless faces
-Dunkin Donuts culture
-black pea coats
-every meathead wears the same faded "B" hat
-old tenement apartments that are expensive to rent.
-high cost of living, yet salaries seem to trail other expensive cities (NYC, SF, LA)
-Ted Kennedy
-The Big Dig money pit, and the never-ending cost revisions (upward)
-gun buybacks (grandmothers turning in rusty guns from their attics does not take them off the streets, out of the hands of criminals)
-too much fascination with Foxwoods, Keno, scratch tickets
To be continued.....
their road system sucks. you could be driving in a straight line (which is rare to begin with) and all of a sudden you are on a different street.
\'hey, where\'d you pahk the kah?\'
\'not too fah from the bah, down near hahvad yad.\'
yeah, that too.
i live here, it\'s definitely not the greatest city, and driving sucks, but if you look around you can find a good, cheap, place to live.
and yeah there are a lot of people who do suck here, but you just gotta look around to find the good ones, like most other cities. luckily there are enough people here to do so.
there are good bars and places to go that don\'t suck.
instead of trying to point out all the shitty things about some place try to find a few good things and enjoy it while you\'re there.

Meatheads don\'t wear hats.

thats great!
i havent spent enough time there to know why it sucks. my only complaint relates to the obvious thing about the streets being impossible to navigate. they should\'ve taken notes in manhattan ... wait they were there 1st, nevermind.
Oh, and I couldn\'t find any place that served tea at set break. that sucked.
Al half of the things you listed are true in any other major city in New England (change DD to Starbucks, a faded B hat to a bright brand new designer sideways NY hat.)
Those damned peacots are truely annoying, but I notice them much more in NY than Boston. (With square-toed shows)
i live here...
but your profile says you are from Arlington, MA......now if you were from Boston, wouldnt your profile say Boston, MA......yet another stupid thing about Boston.....people who live 20 miles outside of Boston proper think they live in Boston.....come on now Meliss....

Umm... New York City is the same way.
Well NYC has 5 burroughs........Does boston consider its surrounding cities burroughs? if so, then that is cool and i retract my statement.....However if they dont, I stand uncorrected...
