Question for ebay sellers...
« on: »
I\'m going through my first round of selling an item on ebay and I was wondering if I need to upgrade my PayPal account in order to receive money??? Does it just credit the card that I have listed as my \'buying\' credit card or do I need to add personal account info. to sell? Thanks for any help.

not sure you can put money onto a credit card with paypal.. you can link it to your bank account, and withdraw your paypal funds directly into there. you can also get the paypal debit card, which is like an atm card linked to your paypal account..

you *may*need to upgrade to a \'premiere\' account though.. not sure..

I believe this is done by Verifying the account. Which links it to your bank account.

I know I can get $ and send and all I ever did was verify my account. I did this because some sellers will not sell to unverified accounts.

yeah, i think the way
paypal\'s terminology works:

linking a bank account to your account "verifies" your account.

linking a credit card "confirms" your address (assuming your address on file is the same as your CC\'s billing address.

I just verified my account and linked it to my personal checking account. I was never asked to verify my account when I put the item up for sale and chose my preferred method of receiving payment as PayPal, but I assume that\'s all I had to do. Thanks for the help guys.
