"a habitable Earthlike planet that can sustain liquid water and support life"
One thing I always found funny was that everyone thinks water is the basis of ALL life. May not be true.......hhhhmmmmm?

??
no , but hydrogen not only makes up 2/3 of water, it is the basis of ... um pretty much everything but dark matter, which would probably consist of anti-hydrogen particles.
good lookout!
Yes, but is oxygen the viable source of any living thing.....we proved it to not be the case in school!!......unless everything I learned was bogus!?!?!??

"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe." -Frank Zappa

Todd, the basic argument is that you need oxygen for most form of life on earth, us included. If you have hydrogen
and oxygen, then you can have water, thus the planet can sustain us, thus we could go there, and there is a chance of life forms along the same lines as here on earth already inhabitting said planet.
and, while we\'re at it...
let us not forget that hydrogen gas mixing with oxygen gas is highly explosive.
kind of amazing that in liquid form it forms our very matter.
