The kid who ran Knighthood Tee\'s was sued by Phish a few years ago for using their song names on the shirt. I am not sure if this falls under the same category but, if it is copyrighted it means someone owns the right to the logo. Who ever owns the copyright can confiscate the shirts. Because, under 50 will probably be made, someone who have to know a CEO or a high power and get caught wearing the shirt. I think all is good here.
just make sure the hat is on animal....
and as far as legality goes....
PROOVE that\'s animal\'s silouette.
thats not animal... animal doesnt wear a hat.... lawsuit avoided.

Looks great!! What about the back? thebreakfast.info obviously, but what else?
PS I\'d be up for one of these tees too - you could hang fire on sending my SER shirt till these came in, if you\'ve not already sent it.

LOL ok if you think it\'s that ez. But if the figure even elicits a thought of Animal upon observation, which it does, you can still be prosecuted for copyright infringement. Believe me when I say Jim Henson Productions has more lawyers than all of us on the board combined. That being said, it is very unlikely that enough $$ would be made from selling the shirts to draw any real attention. I only mention it because the fanbase is beginning to really get involved and if things go the way we all want them to and the band breaks big certain laws will have to be followed in order to avoid any complications for the band and it\'s family of fans.
oh leith i wasnt serious, and even if jim henson prod. did decide to come after us, i have connects with one the top litigators on the planet. i wont mention any names but check out a recent cover of forbes magazine. but it shouldn\'t be an issue anyways. we\'re not tryin to rip anyone off, we just like our tee shirts. i\'ve been in tons of bands that have ripped off trademarked logos and all that but unless you\'re REALLY under the microscope, no one cares.
I think that any problems that would come from this tee shirt would happen when you started selling the shirt for profit. The bottom line, no matter what anyone else says, is ALWAYS money. If everyone is buying the shirt for x amount of dollars and no one is profiting from the sale of the shirt, no one cares. It is free advertisment for the Muppets in a sense. No Profit = No Problem. They would probably only go after the printer of the TShirts for not questioning the Copyright. It would be a sticky mess, but I think we can get through it.
lets make it happen folks!!
