I\'m so glad i dont live downtown anymore (my car was always parked in the george st. garage and my building was on the corner of orange, crown, and george) ....cause my ass would have gotten kicked out of bed quite early.

That place was thee place......going to see New Haven Nighthawks games with my Pops will always be a sweet memory....

I slept in till 9 am. I was mad....i had the alarm set for 6:30.....

I think the countdown was just off, it started expolding on 6 and then they pushed the plunger thingy
I got the watch it go down from the non-moving Q-bridge. Was a pretty cool thing to see that close. Didn\'t realize how loud it was cos I had my radio on, but as Dave said, he heard it from his house as did my parents. It definitely shook the bridge which was a little sketchy.
The photos Jackie has of the implosion are incredible. Better than any from the papers that I have seen.
