George, I understand/appreciate your view... but it seems a bit... blissfully naive. In this day and age, we really need someone with experience. Someone who will be able to handle a crisis situation, and who can take on an angry, confused, highly polarized country.

Fair Enough. I am definately a newb to the world of politics, so maybe thats why I seem naive. Does being a senator really prepare you for crisis situations though? The guy has been involved in politics for a while, just cause he hasn\'t been in the senate for too long doesn\'t necessarily mean he wouldn\'t be able to hold his own. -

Give him a few more years, and I might vote for him. I do not feel comfortable voting for someone whose voting record is so small that it is really hard to tell where he stands on things.

but its the administration as a whole that are supposed to make the decisions. i think someone that hasn\'t been brainwashed by all the political bullshit that has been going on since the start of this nation. for the people by the people. I\'m sick of all the senators/congressmen and politicians that have been riding the coattails of there fathers, running this country. this country is a mockery of Democracy and i cant believe nothing is being done about it.

I would be absolutely. Shocked if Obama gets out of the primaries.
His policies place him almost as a socialist.
The press is just having a love affair with him right now. No one has thrown a shot over his bow yet.
The whole frenzy started when Oprah gave him the thumbs up and hasn\'t stopped yet. They all LOVE contemplating an [-]African American[/-] Black President.
He is a relative unknown. Hillary doesn\'t want to bruise him because it will make her look bad with the folks she needs to get the nomination.
I think / hope Edwards is the go to guy. I think he would have the best chance to win and not be a polarizing element to the Election. Hillary will polarize people and would most likely get the republicans the White House in 08. Edwards is middle of the road, Obama will polarize people as well just for unfortunate reasons. I would vote for him if I liked his politics -
