Just for reference, could everyone post their locations so I (or someone) can make kind of a "Members Map" (or topographical list)? I\'m just curious to see who is in the Midwest besides Gordo, or who is out West besides zurflu, etc. This would really help me out, especially since my neighbor and I are going to try to get TB to come back to Purdue University this fall.

80-90% of peeps who post here daily= New York and New England. Others can chime in ;)
Do you know anyone with weight at Purdue? And by weight, I don\'t mean big in the belly ;) Easiest way to get them there is to get whoever is in charge of booking bands to hire them. "If you pay them they will come"

Well, I\'m sure the people at Lafayette Brewing Company will ask them to come again, I just hope they ask them to come on a regular basis. You Eastern folk are spoiled rotten, damnit! :) LBC is really the only place I recommend they play around Purdue. The campus bars are full of belligerent frat boys and the coffeeshops are too small. I would take all the flyering and publicity upon myself, just because I\'m starting to love this band that much, but I\'ll see what I can do about getting the LBC to book them again. I just thought maybe Gordo or someone else in my area could help out.

I was just recently (yesterday) wondering why so many people choose to leave their location blank.

As far as west coast fans, Leith is the main representative of the San Diego area (though there are a couple others registered out there).  Wstielau is the main rep. down in L.A., though there are also a few registered members there as well as a few others towns up the coast.  I lived in Massachusetts for the first 24 years of my life till I moved here at the beginning of 2005, though half my family was rooted out here and I used to spend every summer here (I actually do have a local connection in Oakland Gencs. - the guy who calls me the transplant).

Off the top of my head:

There are very few members in between coasts.  Doobster is from AZ but hasn\'t posted since last summer and I think I remember a fan from Colorado looking for shows in the SCORE Forum.

Gordo is in Ill.(there is also a guy registered as WillyJ that I sent cds to in the Chicago area), Bryank rep\'ing S. Dakota, GSphan in WI, maybe someone registered from MI.

Am I missing anyone else in the heartland?

wow a Masshole that prefers to be in RI, sounds like a deathwish. you know it\'s confirmed that RI\'s are the (baddest?) drives in the US, followed only by MA.

Thanks so much for taking care of that, Dave. Neat new feature! I think it\'ll help newbs in that they can find other fans to hitch a ride with or meet up with at shows (or in my case, see if anyone within a 300-mile radius has even heard of TB). :)

might just be my browser, but when ya zoom, the marks on the map don\'t adjust with the map. I zoomed in and all the marks were then in europe.
