Seriously. I **** hate the mall. I\'d blame it on being older, but that wouldn\'t give me an excuse for the previous 28 years of loathing the building every time I\'ve gone in there. It\'s not the building per say though, as I hate all malls. I hate everything about them. Other than a heated indoor treadmill for the elderly in the winter and something for kids with nothing better to do than waste their teenage years away in, what purpose does it serve? They **** the country of the mom and pop stores that made towns unique long before most people in New England had ever heard the word \'Wal-Mart\'. Wal-Mart was just more efficient at it and brought everything in under one store name. Today was the first time I went to a mall since before the holidays in december and it never changes. The yuppies, the stores, the products, the pathetic excuse for capitalism that we call commerce or the overweight people stuffing themselves on discount sales for stretch elastic pants, complaining that they don\'t make any in their size while walking over to the human trough called a food court to gorge themselves on the crap they call food and then wondering why they are overweight so they buy the newest product as seen on tv guaranteed to loose 10lbs in 15 minutes as long as you buy this (and also follow the same \'sensible diet and workout program, results not typical\' that they all require) if you want to actually have results while eating your deep fried god-knows-what. At least I got the new rush and NIN albums, my punishment for not ordering them online like I should have.
Only in america. I **** hate the mall.

I avoid them like the plague. I never go to the mall. We didn\'t sped tim ethere that much as kids. I think its a man thing. I don\'t know too many guys who window shop. Women can do that all day. I go to buy stuf when I need to buy stuff. Not to simply browse through endless wasted money choices.
But I did got to an FYE the other day. I haven\'t actually stepped foot in an actual music store in years. I had way too much fun tho. I don\'t think I have ever been in a music store when I had a real job and could get whatever I wanted.
I bought all sorts of CDs. New to me stuff, stuff I needed to replace (You know the cds that somehow grow legs and you never see them again even tho you still have the case for them) and just random stuff i have wanted.
This is what I got:
Sublime - Sublime
Blood Sweat And Tears - The extended Versions (live)
Black Crowes - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
Beck - Mutations
Iron Maiden - Peace of Mind
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life (24 bit remastered)
Eric B and Rakim - Paid in Full
Radiohead - OK computer
I could have spent so much more but was running out of time. Sure was fun tho
