It wasn\'t planned. I generally buy everything online. I actually was going to get some lunch and noticed the FYE on my way. So I stopped and had instant gratification fun. The prices were decent to expensive. A lot of the older stuff i got was marked down to 9.99 so it wasn\'t so bad.
When I buy online I tend to load up my cart and then not actually buy anything (music wise anyway same with dvds) I guess I loose my motivation to buy stuff when it is out of hand. Which is probably a good thing -

The one redeeming factor of The Westchester (Mall) is all the MILF action. I know of no other mall with so many HOT moms / woman roaming around spending other peoples money.

I couldn\'t agree more with what you say. As a person who owns a small engraving business in a mall i spend around 50 hrs a week here. The money is ok, even though those fuckers Things Remembered drive us out of every mall we go to, but the people are horrendous. Trust me, there is nothing worse than over-caffeinated soccer moms who have nothing better to do than to give me **** about the most mundane bullshit. My malls are in Queens and Paramus NJ and trust me, i would rather have the 30% of my clientele that can\'t speak a lick of english struggling to put sentences together on a plaque than those stupid fuckin house wives. The next middle aged woman that asks me why her order can\'t be done quicker than 20 mins is getting suplexed.

malls are outrageous! and i avoid them at all costs. from a shopping point of view, it is just way too overwhelming for me. one of the last times i was in a mall i was harassed by one of those cell phone boutique people...fucker just wouldn\'t leave me alone until i finally raised my voice and gave him the death stare. another time (around christmas, which of course is the worst time to go) i was in baby gap for one of my cousins. i was standing in an isle looking at an outfit and all of a sudden i got shoved out of the isle by 3 bumbling idiots! on top of all the morons you have to deal with the prices of things are sky high. you walk into one store and pay $40 (minimum) for a pair of pants with holes in them! Thanks, but i like to put my own holes in my jeans through wear and tear.
speaking from a working point of view (as i worked at victoria\'s secret for about a month), holy hell! the women that walked into that store are lucky i was trying to keep this job because i so wanted to knock some teeth out! i had one woman arguing with me that the product doesn\'t work...i just wanted to say, "well stop going to the food court and start exercising you lazy ****, and leave me alone!" it\'s not like i\'m the person making this ****, i was just letting her into a fitting room. and then you got the guys...they\'re as useless as **** on bulls when they go into v.s. they ask you for help, you ask what size, and they can\'t even describe the physique of the woman to you.
then you get to the parking lot! so many times i\'ve been nearly run-down...i mean, i\'m not that small where you can\'t see me over your bumper! and then you have the stalkers...you know who you are...following people to their spot. it makes me feel so awkward any time someone does that to me. plus you have the people that don\'t know if they want to stop or go. or the freakin\' speed demons...course i fall into that category every now and then.
so yeah, all in all, i hate malls!

y\'know i really dont like the mall either but i never really thought about it. the only time i go there is if someone asks me to meet them there, usually another mom with little kids and i dont want to feel like the weirdo that doesnt love the mall. i guess my daughter is becoming *that age* too because she absolutely begs to go there, so it\'s a rare once in a while reward type thing.
then again ... i am a little weird:biggrin: i shop at the smallest grocery stores i can find, early in the morning or late at night to avoid the overwhelm. otherwise i end up getting frustrated and leaving with nothing but broccoli and paper towels or 2 other such random items not conducive to a healthy supper. -

i make it a point to go to the mall on christmas eve every year, it\'s such a wonderful experience, and I think everyone should try it at least once (haven\'t been able to do it the last couple years though). i remember one year we sat in the meriden mall\'s parking lot for 2.5 hours, just trying to get out of the lot, it was absolutely hilarious and entertaining (if you make it such, if you are there with the mindset of getting in and out, well, not for you, but if you are expecting it to be the fiasco that it is, it\'s quite awesome).
other than the pre christmas fiasco that i enjoy so much (and we usually don\'t buy anything), the only time I go to the mall is to go to Dick\'s Sporting Goods, which conveniently has it\'s own little parking garage and entrance, so it\'s not like going to the mall at all. -
