Can\'t you talk shight on the high score board right inside the arcade? I wouldn\'t know because my gaming skills have eroded greatly since I lost the TV adapter for my ColecoVision 25 years ago.

Seriously though, the game reaches a threshhold at 20,000 points where it becomes pure luck. The wind whips randomly from side to side, leaving no way to time any monkeys. At 20,000 there is no way you can drop a skinny monkey without the wind changing direction and velocity at least once, usually 2 or 3 times. When I passed Holly I still had 3 lives left and thought I might be headed for the stratosphere. I was looking at 2 skinny monkeys and a hat monkey, all high up. But as I tried to time them, I realized there was no way to do it with the wind changing so much. The windsock was often sticking completely straight out! I ended up splattering all 3 monkeys, and they flew all over the place with no rhyme or reason. Anyone who breaks 20,000 has mastered the game, after that it\'s just luck.

I\'m guessing that there has never been more analysis of high score Monkey Cliff Diving in the history of MCD.
