Yeah my dad is driving down to Florida right now; I am not super psyched about it. He\'s a crazy loon.

apples don\'t fall all that far from the tree.
I won\'t argue that.
Wish I had gotten his smarts along with his craziness.

you\'re not exactly a dimwit.
Yeah not EXACTLY a dimwit, there is probably some other word that more accurately describes the severity of my mental limitations....

The year of the storms.
Amazing how much natural disasters the world has encountered this year.
So, can we expect a pretty heavy and ser snowfall this winter?

not nearly enough
as long as I am stocked with all the party goods, I welcome harmless blizzards
The almanac says we\'re in for some serious snow this winter, last I heard...
I hope we get nailed. There is nothing worse than living in New England and having it be bitter cold and icy with no snow. At least when there is snow you can do things (skiing, sledding and tubing, snowboarding, snowman and angel making, fort building, and for me, most importantly, snowshoeing.) The winter before last was HORRIBLE. We pretty much got no snow after Christmas, and I had a brand new pair of Tubbs. ugh...
I like snow because it is one of the only precipitations that can stop everything. With enough snowfall, school stops, work halts and all that
****.
Any precipitation (snow, sleet, hail, rain, etc) can stop everything if you get enough of it.
