Free DVD Software?

• I just picked up a new laptop, which is doubling as my DVD player for the moment, and the included options for playing DVDs (Window Media Player or CyberLink) are both pretty crappy. Is there a good, free program out there for playing DVDs?

  also if you are looking for a good ripping app etc look for handbrake
