I\'m trying to get a copy of the \'03 FF which is only available in FLAC. I don\'t have any experience with FLAC so I am trying to use FLAC Ripper to convert it to mp3 (I know the quality issue, but all my music is on my iPod). The problem that I\'m having is that the tool needs me to point to a CUE file, but I don\'t have the foggiest idea what that is and I can\'t seem to find one in the zip that I downloaded. I tried using the free version of Winamp, but couldn\'t get that going (it seems like I needed to use the pay version before it would do anything). Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
You won\'t usually find a cue file in a normal flac file set. If you want an easy one step program, try Free Mp3 Wma Converter, which does all the major file formats.

Thanks. I\'ll give this a try.
I had a program that converted the files, but it only had a 13 day free trial and that ran out.

If you have FLAC Frontend
http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.htmlYou simply drop the files in and decode. That will make them WAV files. From there you can convert to anything you want with any encoder you wish.
Depending on your computer they will decode in under a few minutes. So making it 2 steps isn\'t a huge deal
I used the FLAC Frontend and it worked like a charm. Thank you.

its really cake to use the frontend
if you happen to dl shn files(more rare these days),get the mkw and use it the same way as the frontend.
Fred likes the frontend as well as the backend...fyi....so I\'ve heard...
