Hopefully I\'ll get out of pool early and be able to attend.
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright...until you hear them speak.

Thanks Dave. And to everyone else who came. It feels good to have done something I\'ve wanted to do for a long time, something that is a major challenge on many levels.

I would term my performance last night as fair. It\'s going to take a lot of hard work to meet my standards with this, specifically in regards to pacing and tempo. And a set of brass balls the size of Jupiter certainly wouldn\'t hurt. Fortunately, I have no shame or fear of being embarrassed.

Monday, Nov. 5, is the next one. I anticipate writing different bits with a contrast of quick hitters and the more anecdotal material. And I plan on rehearsing them many more times than I did these.

There\'s a few hoops to jump through about set two but we\'re working on it. So stay tuned.

Congrats Chris Pitch!!!

I am glad you witnessed me own Tim and Pitch in the last half of that movie game.

4 am dinner was awesome!!  We were like a little sitcom family or something.  I dare not mention the excellence of the sauce (oh wait, i did) cause i was being mocked that i would.

it was great meeting you.  I am sure we will hang out again in the future!:)

Congrats Chris Pitch!!!

Thanks guys. It now actually looks like my next attempt at stand-up will be at Southern this Friday night as part of the open mic for the first reading of Folio, which is the school\'s literary magazine.

Chris, my only advice besides the obvious slow down (which was probably nerves if I had to guess) is less profanity. Don\'t know why, but I from what I know of you (which may not be that well), you\'re not that vulgar of a person and I think you could definitely be as funny and maybe more without all the profanities. And oh yea, more arangatang (sp) jokes.

 Saw that coming. Guess what I\'m saying is I can see you as more of a Mitch Hedberg (sans the early death) or Steven Wright type of comedian. Or you can just call my brother for a plethora of fun one-liners that fit into a single topic.

Just figured I\'d report that in addition to the musical merriment from the Party at Key 17 Studio on Saturday, I performed two sets of material, the first which was my second attempt at stand-up comedy, the second which consisted of a poem, then a rap that\'s comprised entirely of palindromes, which as I\'ve done once before, I read twice.

I\'d say that I was highly satisfied with my stand-up performance (which I felt went much better than the first time) and was mostly happy with the audience\'s response. I\'d add that I was extremely happy with both my performance and the response for the second set.

And though there was supposed to be video coverage of said event, after the party the cast of the Golden Girls mugged me, stole the video, sold it on eBay (for a whopping sum, I\'m sure), and will use the proceedings to bankroll The Golden Girls Movie, which I\'m hoping to land a part in as Blanche\'s boyfriend. In other words, there were some technical difficulties that were beyond my control.

In any event, this is what I performed.

I: Blanche Dressing, Massive Gnat ****

II: Big Joe Pitch, Oozy Rat in a Sanitary Zoo, Oozy Rat in a Sanitary Zoo

Truly an outstanding time on many levels.
