Powder Hollow Barn was a dump...  I don\'t remember a show there that didn\'t have a power outage...

Yeah, I just came in to say that there really is no need to asterisk the power outages at a Powder Hollow Barn show.  It just goes without saying.

However, you gotta admit that the shows totally raged because it was all-ages BYOB.  And as we all know, there is a certain level of rage possible at a proper club show and then there is an entirely different level of rage possible at the rare all-ages BYOB show.

I couldn\'t stand JB, so that was part of it the issue...  Yeah, they raged, but I also remember more wannabe hippies rolling in the back of the room or ourside than inside enjoying the music...  If you want an all-ages BYOB show to reference, you can go to point to any of the Butterfield shows (with maybe the Spring-Fest show and that was only because I didn\'t really dig the song selection of that show)...

The Powder Hollow Barn...I have always wanted to see a show there. Alas, but at least we have prime examples like 11-23-02. I am knee deep in the Escher's and the controls are set for mmmmmelt.

Here's some LMA linkage:

The end of the Powder Hollow Barn show actually goes: LDZ > Wild Pack > Soul Finger, Bugs**

** power outage, recording switches to an audience source part way through

Happy listening!!
