If you go to thebigup.com there is a link on the right side towards the bottom that says "Don\'t have a ride? Link up and carpool. Festivalbudi.com" Give it a shot.

thanks for the offer russ. i know i\'ve got a definite ride if i need one on friday, but i\'d love to catch that thursday breakfast set if i can

yeah the animal collective set will probably be one of the more highly attended events for PS1 this summer. i don\'t have any set plans for saturday yet, but it\'s on the radar. you thinking about going? stepkids at sullivan hall later that night also.

does the animal collective set cost anything?  nice, didnt know about the stepkids show...but apparently theyre not headlining so i dunno if the timing works out to catch both.  looks like my saturday just went from boring to interesting!

animal collective will probably be the last of the acts. music starts at 1 pm. i think it\'s $15 to get in. i imagine it will probably go until 9ish. here\'s the link to the full schedule:

the stepkids are opening...their facebook page says they start at 9, but the sullivan hall site says 10:15. i would tend to believe the later time.

i talked to him about 50.00 day passes for Breakfast fans that want to hit up the next nights in Ellicotville and he said that should be cool. let me know if intrested..

Argh, just trying to get things together a week before the fest. Are thursday tix still a possibility by chance? I can only be there for thursday night and then I\'d be out fryday morning. I am pretty sure I can pull that off with work. Should I just try to contact one of the promoters through their website?

Consider the Source, UV Hippo, then the Breakfast!?

Well, I sent an email to the Big Up people and no go on the thursday ticket. Bummer. I was really hoping to pull this off like I did last year. He said there are some saturday tix left but otherwise I would have to pay the full price.

Hope everyone has a blast enjoying the boys rip it up!!

There was a *LOT* of buzz about The Big Up @ GOTV. I think it\'s going to be a good time.

I have a few bucks left what the heck. If anyone needs a ride from the Northampton area let me know.

so i just got back from seeing ultraviolet hippopotamus play for free at brooklyn bowl tonight and im stunned!  anyone going on thursday should definitely check these guys out, they go on right before the breakfast!  they are definitely the perfect warmup for an epic breakfast set for sure.

kinda lame crowd for a free show on a monday night in brooklyn (my friend and i brought the total up to 5 strong lol), although a solid portion of the bowlers would cheer occasionally.  gotta hand it to em though....2 hour set of pure awesomeness.

thursday is gonna rule!
