Going to play at Murphy\'s in Boone? Great - one of my favorite towns, and Murphy\'s is a fun venue.....but there is one slight problem. The stage there is miniscule. The stage is so small you could cram it up an ant\'s ass and it would be like a hotdog in a hallway. The only reason I mention this is that after the incident in St. Louis, The Breakfast needs to be careful where they book a gig and consider if Jordan\'s keyboard amp can fit in the venue, and at Murphy\'s it can\'t. I recommend booking Boone Saloon instead. That said I like Murphy\'s as an intimate venue with good sound, and it is always packed, but last time I was there I saw a trio and they barely fit on stage. If Jordan could just get a smaller, backup keyboard amp for these types of situations it might be doable.

they\'ve played murphy\'s several times before.. i actually saw them play there in \'02.. i just can\'t believe they\'re still playing there..
So they can fit into Murphy\'s. That StL venue must have been the size of a bb. Anyway I see they are playing in New York on 5/13. Does this mean they will do a few weeknight dates around the south or are they going to head back north right after the Virginia Beach gig? If so that seems a long way to go just to play at a tiny venue like Murphy\'s. I recommend trying to book a gig at the Grey Eagle in Asheville NC while they are down there. That is the only venue in Asheville where you can get a guaranteed good crowd on a weeknight.
hey, on 4/25 they are playing valentine\'s in albany and fredonia! is it both or one?? please be albany!
