I went to school 5 minutes from Kearny in \'beautiful\' Newark NJ and wanted everyone to know that some of the best food you will ever eat is in Newark NJ. The area around Penn Station Newark is called down neck or the Iron Bound section of Newark and it is where the best Portugese Restaurants in the US are. A couple of recomendation are Iberia (Steak, lobster Paella etc...), Iberia Penisula (rodizio which is a brazilian barbeque which is a meat lover paradise), Spains and Don Pepe\'s just to name a few. My recomnendation is to go to Iberia Penisula get Rodizio or Lobster (twin lobsters 15.99), some Sangria and have a great time. If you plan on doing this I would recommend a reservation as it will be very tough to just walk in. Rodizio is a very social meal, what it entails are people walking around with scures (spelling?) of meat and serving you as much as you can eat, everything from filet wrapped in bacon to sausage. I will make sure that this show is packed and that NJ gives the Breakfast a good showing. Let me know if you have any questions about the area or if you need directions.
