Trust me...I\'m almost 40 years old...been going to festivals ever since I\'ve been 16...and LOTS of them!!! This is one festival (if you can even call it that!), that is NOT to be missed!! Last year was their first year, but by the way they put it on and how welcome it was and smoothly it went, you\'d think that they had been doing it for years! We\'re going again this year, and it is one of the highlights of our summer (this and Block Island). This is such a chill atmosphere and such a beautiful piece of property!!!!
tickets probably will sell out the weekend of like last year but it doesnt hurt to get them early as they do rise in price the weekend of, I think they go up like $20
http://www.campbarefoot.orgThis campground is beautiful, 3000 acres to enjoy...showers, lakes, hiking, biking and oh yeah music as well....
Great fest, can\'t say anythign that hasn\'t already been said, but especially if your so close GO!
will upstate still have the lights?..... i think i really want to go to this. Spacey, what are your plans broseph
just saw the breakfast this weekend in lexington, va....The band seemed very stoked to be playing camp barefoot this year. They made a couple of announcements during there set.
the show rocked that little barn this weekend. to bad the seen kinda sucked outside. trash everywhere and a couple of fights.
ya, conversations earlier and pics of past shows made it seem a little out of control frat party ish. still would have been cool to be there raging up front... or off to the side so other people can see the stage.......

this will be our return to barefoot. last year was a lot of fun as 2 friends got engaged during the show. the whole night was a lot of fun.....this year should be just as much if not more fun.....definitely looking forward to this...
regarding the buffalo creek scene, you could tell there were a lot of frat and college kids at this festival because there was definitely no heady "keep the scene green" vibe at all......i didnt see any fights and was running around that place like a mad hatter.....i thought it was a pretty laid back dowhatyalike lil festie......
my funniest memory form that night has gotta be Grellis with about 6 balloons in his hands falling backward into a bush popping one or two and rolling around laughing his ass off.
This festival seriously is soo much fun, to anyone (DW Spacey) who is slightly considering it, GO! You won\'t regret it.
Man I think I have to go to this festival...looks like alot of fun, plus it will make it 4 weekends in a row for fests...which will rule(as long as I survive!)

i really want to do this...............
This was my best-ever festie!!! OK, so it was the only one I\'ve ever been to, but I had such a great time, I don\'t want to go to any others - it might ruin what I have in mind as to what a festival is...
This had everything available in close proximity (music, food, drugs, etc.) and the lake was gorgeous & fun to swim in! I also vaguely remember a 4Runner 4WD run in the backwoods, living on hotdogs and Yuengling beer, and a steep mountain behind our site. While I really wish Midnight Spaghetti and the Chocolate G-Strings would be back this year, I\'m sure the variety of bands will be entertaining! Anyone who is debating, shut the hell up & buy a ticket already! Too late for VIP passes, but maybe you can chill at our campsite

 This was the weekend I got over myself and said "
**** it, I\'m gonna drink the yellow" and I\'ve been drinking it ever since.

rotfl I actually succumbed to the yellow this weekend as well...BUT...it DID NOT break me into indulging in it as a daily practice!!!

Damnit VA seems to far from NH... what part of the state is Gore in? I haven\'t been to a real festival in a couple of summers and this sounds like it might be a good one to hit.
