peoples band is usually the house band at porters... correct? i recall them playing downstairs before a breakfast show there, and that seemed to work well... either way im estimating probably an 1030 11ish start time...?

just a little remider that tonight will be jill\'s last show as a ct\'ian and that you should all help her celebrate accordingly!


(and keep the band as occupied as possible during setbreak, cuz i\'ll be leaving dc at 5 and if they do play my requested sammy, i\'d hate to not be there yet, ya know! ;) )

Anyone looking for a pregame spot:
   My good friend\'s stag is being held tonight at the VFW/Masonic Hall on Rt. 22 in Northford. Starting time is 6:30pm, $25 donation. Come on by early and fill your stomach with some grub and pound all the yellow beers or mixed beverages (selection limited, think there\'s a few bottles of whiskey, couple vodka, tequila, gin) you can drink until you leave for Westbrook. Would save you a few bucks from eating/drinking at Porter\'s beforehand a few hours preshow I would think. We\'ll have some blackjack and poker games too. Decent (not great) raffle prizes, but not sure if the raffle will go off before you\'d leave.

Anyway, anyone interested and in need of directions give me a ring sometime today/tonight: (203) 214-5627, leave a message if I don\'t answer.
