I hope no one cares, because i just put Dave\'s recording of 11/17/05 up on oink.  if its a problem, i\'ll take it down, but i figure putting them up as many places as possible can\'t hurt, right? i\'ll put more shows up as often as i can, but i\'m interested to see what kind of response there\'ll be from the folks on that site. i labeled them as rock, but i wasn\'t sure if i should\'ve listed them under funk or something to help folks who are doing genre-specific searches. rock makes the most sense to me, but if anyone thinks otherwise, i\'m a very malleable person.

good idea jking. i just put the last porters breakfast show and the hotel tka timmy show on oink to boost my ratio up so i could get some invites. 2 people downloaded hotel tka and 1 person downloaded porters.

there are so many torrents on oink that they will probably get shuffled down to the bottom very quickly before anyone sees them, so thetradersden might be a better place if you just want to help get the word out there. but if youre on oink and need to get your ratio up just keep seeding breakfast and solo timmy there because its definitely not a bad idea.

how do i get on oink?? the program i was using i2hub (a college dc++ client) just went under, and i need a new way to get music!! if anyone wants to pm me the details it would be most apreciated! or is this the one where you have to get an invite or some ****???

you have to be invited by an existing member, and its not easy to get invites unless you upload a lot. its a good idea to make sure you invite people that you know will upload a reasonable amount if they download a lot.

I thought that you couldnt trade anywhere else anything that was submitted to oink, that they would ban you. I downloaded like 4 things and have not uploaded because I forget how. It\'s not a necessity to me. Also, I have absolutely nothing unique that I could upload ;)
