The book thread spurred me to start this.

I\'m always looking for a recommendation for a good game especially since they\'re so expensive.

I just finished Dead Space, and even though I\'m not into the whole survival horror thing, I really enjoyed it.

With the DLC\'s for Fable II and Fallout 3 I\'ve been returning to those two quite a bit, and they both have at least a few more downloads coming.

Also really pumped for Prototype, looks amazing.

Infamous looks great too, but I\'m putting off getting a PS3 till there\'s a substantial price drop.

I have a feeling this thread may be dead in the water, but worth a shot.

can\'t.stop.playing.animal.crossing.......

mostly because i just got a Nintendo DSi and its so **** cool. probably going to get myself a Wii so i can get City Folk and start playing Mario Kart online....

lol my nintendo games probably dont satisfy your thirst for blood.... if zombie apocalypse is your thing you should check out Left For Dead... though i\'ve been an observer/cheerleader for most of the game i\'ve seen, its pretty impressive....

Fallout 3 owns me. I can\'t get enough. Just got to level 25 and took a break since I only get 5 more levels.
V.A.T.S. is most awesome!
Far Cry 2 was a lot of fun and I borrowed Fable II and need to again for the DLC.

Just finished up the old Riddick and starting the 2nd game. Great Deal 2 games in one.

Picked up Burnout Paradise for a change up and it is really fun supposed to add a whole new island soon.

Prototype does look killer.

) just a good game. It\'s actually mostly about a good story with me. Mario Kart is a hell of a lot of fun, Super Sluggers is a fun Wii game too. Will admit I haven\'t touched my Wii in a long time though. Left for Dead is supposed to be good but generally not my kinda game. I suck at multiplayer shooters.

Fallout 3 owned my world through jan and feb, and again for a week or so with each DLC. Two more coming, (I think June and July) which is good cause I couldn\'t make it to lvl 30 with Broken Steel alone.
Very, very addicting game once you get past the first hour or so.

wii is the best! i just started mario galaxy. i also just got punch out, boom blox bash party, and super mario sluggers and have mostly been playing those.

:sigh: I should be playing Mario Kart by now (wii)... I did a "buy it now" off of eBay for $40. Only problem is that the seller cancelled the auction, kept my money, and went out of biz! grrr.... I\'m waiting patiently for my "hopeful" refund!

:lol: so, I\'ve only got Wii Sports, Wii Fit, and Midnight Bowling for now :shrug:

Funny (and relevant enough) as this is a fresh new thread - my girlfriend, a writer, just got called up today by a videogame development company in San Francisco to do some freelance work on their current projects. Neither of us are video game geeks but that is pretty much my only avenue into this thread.

Nice! Only NES RPG I played was Final Fantasy, but props for NES!

I just threw down a Castlevania speed run this morning. 18:48. Very good, not my PR (17:33) but one of my 5 best runs. Unfortunately I\'ll never get anywhere near the record of 13:08, I can\'t even comprehend how that is possible, but it\'s just fun to try and PR.
