I like the boondocks. nice to hear comedy central (er, maybe cartoon network, forget which) didn\'t run from a little negative press.
I think the press was more praise than negative. Except for the MLK episode which I think Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson had a HUGE problem with.
that was the one I was refering to.
"F you all, I\'m moving to canada!" rotfl
to anyone interested, Adult Swim re-airs their line up, so the premiere BOondocks is on again RIGHT NOW!!!

To be honest, it seems like most of the African-American community(obviously not all) are really starting/have gotten sick of those two championing any/all causes no matter what the facts. Sharpton esp has recieved alot of backlash after his last few"causes" blew up in his face. Jackson gets more respect bc of the church backing/political power, but even he has begun to come under sharp scrutiny after backing the high-schoolers that began that riot a few years ago at the football game.
I am glad to see this series back, great writing.
WOW!!! That episode was great. Looks like they brought their A game as far as writing and topics...the Air Marshall 50 Cent
**** was funny as hell. The Huey v. Ruckus was awesome. Good call Mandler, I didn\'t even realize this was starting again.
so happy this show is back. Good episode, not quite "The Garden Party" (1st episode 1st season)(Ronald Regan is the devil, and the government is lying about 911) but good none the less. This season should be the
****.
I thought it was a pretty darn good start.

"This is
the worst day of my life."
"I
told you"
It\'s one of those things that I have such high expectations for I doubt they can really be met. Once we\'re a few episodes into the season I\'ll def be over it.
**** probably even by next week.
I like how they immediately went with each characters strong parts and hit them hard. It was a "fluff" episode when compared to most of the subjects they tackle but we\'ll see if the biting edge is still there. If so I am down for another season.

I think that was my only problem, the "fluff" aspect of it. nothing too hard hitting
funny? hell yes.
Season 2?
I\'ll be there........ or die trying. (had to)
...or die trying  Oh that was some funny
**** for sure!
Soul Plane 2: The Blackjacking
rotfl oh man!
See, the way I looked at it, was that they grabbed a bunch of long-standing stereotypes and pushed them to the limits...just to annoy people who bring up just that point about the show. I really felt it was a "screw you" episode to all those who complained about the show. I feel the real meat of this season will commence this week now that they got that out of the way.
The fight scenes between Huey and Ruckus were EPIC, absolutely love how they were cutting back and forth between SPII and the real fight. I think i have just been waiting for this that anything would have made my day. I give it a 8/10, just because of how amazing I think this season will end up.
2nd episode *meh* first episode waay better. liked some of the stuff with "A Pimp Named Slickback" yes you have to say the whole thing.
but, next weeks episode looks really good.
