Last night, I watched "atonement".   Its one of those love stories where you better bring the tissues.....but cleverly written.   I think i\'ve definitely fallen for Keira Knightley....

My wife and I watched Sweeney Todd this weekend and we both really liked it (and that\'s saying something since I really hate musicals).

I\'ve heard nothing but great things about Atonement. I also really liked Pride & Prejudice (most recent version)--same director and lead.

Sweeney Todd was great. Can\'t wait to see it again.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

I watched this really good movie with Edward Norton last night called The Painted Veil. It\'s about two years old.  Worth the watch though...

If you like hiphop, documentaries, NYC History, or graffiti, then Style Wars is for you!

Also Hero (the martial arts movie Hero).  I think it got lost in the long shadow of Crouching Tiger, but I find it to be the superior film of the two.

Watched Cloverfield last night.

That\'s a really good movie. I didn\'t mind the "shot by hand-held camera" deal that much. I thought it was interesting that you didn\'t really get to see two of the main characters faces very much and built your profile of them by voice.

Also, for it to be in the theaters in the Jan/Feb and on DVD yesterday means that it was a total flop?

F that.
