Beowulf

• Just saw a commercial for a movie coming out based on the epic poem Beowulf. I have no idea if it will be any good or not. It probably won\'t be able to do justice to the epic... but it is certainly a story that could become a fantastic movie. It is a poem, originally written in what has become known as Anglo-Saxon, or Old English. Some consider it to be the greatest complete work in Old English. It is about a Scandanavian prince who manages to kill a monster who has been terrorizing/killing the Danes. Of course, as in any epic, the hero\'s troubles extend long after his first heroic deed.   I\'m not sure, but he\'s got 91 acting entries, in IMDB, that date back to \'76.  Most recently, he\'s been in the departed.  He\'s gonna be in the new Indiana Jones movie.
