electronica, for the most part, is dull, repetitive, uninspired, crap for people who have no interest in a communal, organic music experience. people who just want to get \'blissed out\' in their own little world with no regard to whats going on around them. i blame electronica on crappy drugs producing lazy, unoriginal sound makers. but one line of semi-obscure ambiguity repeated for six minutes to a beat i recognize from the original recording really in no way interests me. i\'m sorry if you\'re not patient or talented enough to learn how to play instruments, but taking other people\'s work and re-assembling it to an annoyingly redundant rhthym is still just scrapbooking, to me.
there are a very few exemptions from this rule (the orb come to mind as they at least create soundscapes). even the live bands playing electronica-ish stuff are missing the point. playing the same riff over and over and over is in no way niteresting. unless you\'re on a lot drugs. and not good ones. and don\'t even get me started on post-rock... :hscratch:
You and me= apples and oranges

But, hey, that\'s the beauty of the human experience. No?
no!
**** you! you\'re wrong! post-rock should be re-named as lazy-rock!
Wanna take this to phook?

I just wanted to add thanks to Wah for turning me onto Wilco. That little jaunt around the neighborhood listening to them stuck.
Great Band. Awesome songs.
If you guys like this Wilco album look into Califone or The Clientele, really interesting stuff that I think you would love.

Totally agree. I love The Clinetele. Their Strange Geometry CD has this beautiful song, "I can\'t seem to make you mine". And their new CD, Bookshop Casanova has this song, "Girl from Somewhere" that is also sweet. I recommend checking them out too.
