Caspian, Saw WEEN for the first time at the Avalon Ballroom in Boston, still it was a stellar show.

pretty ser Ween show last night. Webster sucks even more when it is sold out. over/under on songs last night was 35, need an official setlist before the over/under is made final. good times though.

The place was as hot as balls, but not as packed or hot as when i saw the biscuits there in spring 2003.....had a blast regardless......

the sound in that place is horrible. it\'s a muffled mess. it ruined the show.... that and the heat and the fact that there was 4,000,000 people there.

what ruined the show was the line to go out and smoke a cigarette. some of the venue guidelines/rules are just plain stupid. I\'ve had my fill with that dump. "stand away from the doors!", where the hell am I suppose to stand when I can\'t move, should have set off all the door alarms before we left.

Not that we were in any condition to go anyways, but knowing the place was going to be packed and 1002 degrees made up my mind last week to not even consider it.

the unpleasantness of the webster was evident last night, but the show was enough to make me somewhat forget how much i hate that place... i thought they were really tight and the crowd was totally energetic where i was in front, a couple mosh pits at a few points as well.

i loved the "WEEN!" chants that spontaneously broke out at a couple points in the set.seemed like the band was having a lot of fun as well.... \'cept gener kept leavin the stage.... and the sound was definitely terrible, there was feedback for at least the first 10 songs, and the mandolin got ditched just before ocean man which sucked!

i had a great time the other night. that was one hell of a show. i was glad to have heard so much off of chocolate and cheese since it\'s basically the one ween album that i know.

I honestly haven\'t listened to Ween in nearly ten years, since the Chocolate/Cheese and Pure Guava days. What does the new(er) stuff sound like?

really not all that different, their music is diverse enough, but they still have that classic ween appeal. if you haven\'t heard white pepper, thats a great album.
