i was actually hanging out with dave, the ween bassist, over the weekend at the Paul Green School of Rock in Manhattan. (he\'s a teacher there.) what a cool guy. i had never met him before. he and my husband (who plays the bass) really hit it off talking about different types of guitars and whatnot.
what\'s even cooler is that i was there for a story i\'m writing about the school\'s upcoming performances with Jon Anderson, the singer from Yes. Jon was there practicing with the kids and i got to hang out with him all afternoon. Being a HUUUUUGGGEEEE Yes fan, it was probably one of the coolest days of my life, hands down. i\'ll post a link to my story when it\'s published, just in case anyone wants to check it out. sometimes i really love my job!

my last show was this past Thursday, April 26, and it was WEEN at the sterling hotel in allentown, pa. real chill venue, *AMAZING* crowd, and a performace worthy of my top 10 all time. i\'ve just downloaded the .flac if anyone\'s interested 
webster should be hottttness! get those tickets cuz they will sell out!
what was the setlist? i\'d be interested in the flacs fo sure. I have no money at the moment but i should be able to buy my webster tic sometime next week. i\'m hoping that will be far enough ahead of time.

you should be in good shape gettin the webster ticket next week, i wouldn\'t recommend getting will call though since both times i\'ve gotten will call at the webster i\'ve missed literally 1/2 the show waiting outside. another one of the reasons i love that venue so!
