Dark Star Orchestra Keyboardist passed away Sunday

Just to let all you music fans know that Scott Larned passed away on Sunday due to heart failure.  you can read more about it at http://www.jammys.com or the DSO website.
I met him a few times, he was a real nice guy.

Think about how life is really short and you should be kinder to each other.

Scott Larned - founder and keyboardist of DSO died of Heart Failure. You guys probably already know this but I just found out.
Scott was a friend to me and the band.

Great player and great guy! Scott purchased every available recording of "Psychedelic Breakfast" and would even bring his band out to our shows when the bands were in the same cities.

He\'ll be missed!

Dark Star Orchestra will return to the road on May 27 following the untimely passing of founding keyboardist Scott Larned. Larned passed away from heart failure on April 24, forcing the cancellation of Dark Star Orchestra?s spring tour. After taking some time to grieve, the band will return to the stage at New York?s Irving Plaza with a variety of ?special guest? keyboardists filling in throughout the May and June tour. The band is also currently auditioning for keyboardists as a full-time, touring replacement only. Interested applicants may email DSO band manager Norman Gopin at Norman@darkstarorchestra.net.
