With Alice in Wonderland earning over $100 million dollars this weekend, audiences (and theater owners) seem particularly receptive to 3D films. In this context comes news that a 3D film presenting Phish in concert is expected to hit theaters next month. Phish 3D will present footage recorded at last year?s Festival 8 event. While an official release date has yet to be announced, a website has just launched, along with an accompanying Facebook page. Thus far, the most commercially-successful 3D concert films have been Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert and U2 3D , the latter of which was produced by our publisher, Peter Shapiro.
