What would you request if that same situation happened?

I\'d most certainly ask for a Harpua first.

Then, maybe Carini or Vultures.

Or a tweezerfest intertwining with 90s cover songs throughout.

Talk about scrapping the barrel to find the songs they haven\'t played. Good stat work. Damn.

I wonder how many of these songs the band actually knows how to play still.

Most of them would probably confuse people by playing it.

When I first got into Phish in fall of \'95, Union Federal was one of the biggest reasons why. An excellent jam that I didn\'t even realize was a jam at the time. I actually thought it was a 25-minute composed song. What a newb.

Honestly, I don\'t need a load of old tunes to be happy w/ phish...  I still listen to my first show (12/29/98) and think tht I caught an awesome setlist and show...

Set 1
Rock and Roll > Funky ****, Punch You In The Eye > Horn, Ginseng Sullivan, Split Open and Melt, Brian and Robert, Guyute, My Soul, Freebird

Set 2
Free, Limb by Limb > Also Sprach Zarathustra, Boogie On Reggae Woman, You Enjoy Myself

Encore
Divided Sky

Holy **** Yoda, I couldn\'t agree with you more. This is my favorite show attended and I consider it to be one of the best 2 set shows they ever played. Starts off with 3 openers and the Melt is ridiculous. Set 2 is as good as anything I\'ve heard them play. The 2001 is way out there and slips right into Boogie On. YEM jam is so solid then a Divided Sky encore? Get the f out of here.
Smell my mule.

isnt riker\'s mailbox just a bunch of nonsense with some harmonica, a maze drum beat, a repetitive bassline and some vocals made to sound like barn animals? I could defintely do w/o that one... but some of the others wouldn\'t be bad for one timers just to say you heard them.
Where to next?
