WOW.
I was just thumbing through my old tape trading book and I found this gem that I must have written while 17 and stoned. It ingeniously uses every song title from Hoist. I have just now added a couple of notes.
I was chilling with my friend Julius and he asked if I would make him a Wolfman\'s Brother*. I said that I did not have all the ingredients, but I had a sample in a jar. He tasted it on his way down and did not react well; in fact, he came down with disease and was quite the dog-faced boy. When I demanded that he hoist himself off the floor he would only repeat "If I could..." So I said "Get a life, boy" and left. On my way to deliver some tapes to Riker\'s Mailbox I was listening to a Split Open and Melt jam and crashed%. I broke an axle. A^ repair dude asked if anything, but I said no because his pungent B.O. could only be described as something akin to the scent of a mule.
*ed. note: I had invented a cocktail called the Wolfman\'s Brother that was popular amongst my friends at the time.
%A veiled reference to Demand, though I used the word demand earlier.
^"axle. A" = Axilla. Get it?
