unreal.
it wasn\'t perfect, but it was really, really **** good.
the band sounded very good overall. there were a few rough patches - trey struggled with bowie and hood - but overall, just phenomenal.
i don\'t know if the YEM thing was a joke or not. they were off before they restarted, but i suppose it could have been intentional. i REALLY hope it was.
my 94th (? i think ?) show, and i\'ll say this - best light show and best vocal jam i\'ve ever witnessed. the lights were absolutely stunning. it appears (to my untrained eye) to be generally the same rig, with a few new goodies thrown in. but it was incredible.
404 pictures taken today. recorded, and got HD video of fluffhead, stash, nicu, horn, and harry hood.
and i got my pollock.
it was a good day.
well after listening (no spoiler style), i know who to trust for reviews. i agree on all points. not a "best show ever"...i wouldn\'t even say it\'s a "great show" (musically). but i\'d still love to be there. be the crowd was unreal. the jamming just wasn\'t there for me, though...kind of expected it after a 5-year hiatus.
my highlights:
fluff opener - not \'94 style, but they played it
dvdsky - featuring a reasonable pause!
i didn\'t know
oh kee pa>suzy - played well...suzy jam was too short
NICU - always a highlight
train song - love this song
water in the sky - almost honky tonk...me likey
YEM vocal jam - song was meh...i don\'t think the false start was on purpose...and how do you
**** up the lyrics to this song (boy man god .... oh
****). i laughed
grind
my one gripe: where are all the ->s???
