I haven\'t really heard much of Mother Vinegar\'s stuff, but it is Karl Englemann\'s band from Ali Baba\'s Tahini w/ Jake Cinniger from Umphrey\'s McGee.

Some of the Ali Baba\'s Tahini stuff is pretty good.  Check out Limbo Boots, homi champa, and their latest album Rockstar\'s and Lawnmower\'s.  Sorry semi-threadjack.

Are you sure about Jake? From their myspace page: Band Members   KARL ENGELMANN (vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, banjo, sitar, kazoo, synthesizer, percussion) TOMMY DENNISON (lead guitars) JEFF HINKLE (acoustic and electric bass) KEVIN CASSELS (drums)

I meant karl and Jake were in Ali Baba\'s Tahini together, I am not sure who all is in Mother Vinegar, but I am sure your description is accurate Todd.

Also those albums I mentioned are Ali Baba\'s Tahini albums, you can get them from the same website I think.
