I haven\'t had a chance to give the album a good listen after buying it off of itunes this afternoon yet.  From what I heard I was sort of disappointed, but thats just a preliminary judgement.  Anyone else listen to it yet?

BTW he is on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight.
This isn\'t who it would be if it wasn\'t who it is.

im sorry, but what i have heard from this Matthew character, i just don\'t like AT ALL. first off, im not a fan of rap, although i enjoy some dre/snoop/tupac/beasties from time to time, but what i have heard from this man just isn\'t appealing or even engaging, at least to me. i havent heard the new album, but since i am going to Manchester this summer, i will have bottle in hand as i stroll by his set.

I hope you will be throwing that bottle on stage  and I hope said bottle is filled with post-asparagus urine.

i downloaded it yesterday. i listened to it once yesterday and once today and i think its pretty good. i have never heard any of his music before yesterday, but i heard his previous stuff was better. i dont think i would buy it now that i have listened to it, but if i got the cd first i dont think i would have been disappointed with the purchase.

"Live @ Stubbs" is a pretty tight album, his band is pretty good. I reccomend anyone to give that a listen.

^^^^Wah beat me to it

i\'m a huge fan of his older stuff. "Informer" was a great tune.. can\'t get into the new stuff though.

I was surprised at myself by how much I like his music, considering I\'m not that into Reggae and even less into Judaism.  His style of delvery is unique and interesting.

One thing about this guy though...he is not the Chasidim he claims to be, that\'s for sure.  (Chasidim are the most traditional and observant Jews.)  He performs on the Sabbath.  A Chasidim doesn\'t do ANY work on the Sabbath.  They don\'t even turn on the light switch, drive the car, or play basketball.  Performing concerts is way, way out of the question.  I think he\'s smart for posing as a Chasidim as part of his shtick though.  It definitely helps sell him.

Oh yeah that\'s right he\'s married and cannot be touched by women or something like that? I totally forgot abt that until just now. Thanx for the memories! That was sooo fun!

He performs on the Sabbath.

youre wrong on that one wolfman. the jewish sabbath starts friday evening at sunset and ends on saturday evening at sunset. so he can play on saturday nights after sunset. if you look on jambase for all of his past tour dates you will find that he has not performed any shows on friday nights.
