I\'m trying to start a band. I\'m looking for guitarists, a drummer, a keyboardist (pianist). Right now I sloppily play bass and synthesizers. I\'m looking to start up at first playing themed improvisations (taking a certain part of a song and just exploring the hell out of it). I would like the sound to be very electronic yet rocking, with explosions of tasteful jazz rock.... Picture Can **** Steely Dan and Parliament Funkadelic with Berlin era Bowie jacking off in the corner......

This is just for pure enjoyment...no expectations!!!

I play bass, but so do you and I don\'t have the time. Mark peters is a drummer who is also into zappa though. He might be down.

Opinions are split along party lines, and then again once more by music/sub-cultural affiliations, in regards to whether I play a good or a bad guitar.

However I might have to hold out to create the ultimate ZZ Top meets Phish meets Joe Walsh meets Twista meets Flaming Lips meets God Himself meets Breakfast-slowed-down-about-500% band
