What about a woman who raises her hand to her man ? Is that ok or just more socially acceptable ?
I am not defending abusers but if this story was about a woman who beat up her man, people would laugh at him and wonder why/how he let her beat him up.
Studies of domestic violence state that women are just as likely as men to be the instigator of a violent confrontation, I would imagine this is why they generally will NOW arrest both parties involved but more times than not it is the guy who goes down.
Also he has a history of hitting women. You would think that women would take that in to consideration before deciding to have a relationship with him.
consider this, a women swinging a baseball bat is the exact samething as a man of the same size swinging a bat. I don\'t know too many people who would be willing to take a shot from a bat even if the kid was a 12 yr old boy
