Whats the deal kids, Freddie recently turned me (along with others im sure) on to this Dub Sid e of the Moon craziness. Well its been brought to my attention that they are making an appearence in NYC @ BBkings with Israel Vibe, and they will be playing Dark Side in their own nasty way. Its a
**** to get into the city i know, but shows at 9pm tonight and its $22, hope to see some of you heads there
:holyshit: $22?!? :holyshit:
damn! who do they think they are?? imo, dub side of the moon is ok, but i wouldn\'t go much furthur than that.. gets old pretty quick though.. nothin\' like the real thing, that\'s for sure..
well i mean, i hate spending money as much as the next person but they aren\'t the headlining act. Headliner is Israel Vibration a legendary roots reggae crew, i think they iz pritty nasty... :awwyeah:
Everything @ BBKing\'s is overpriced.
good lookin alex..i wish i could make it somehow but it aint happenin.dub side is still ser and i think it gets better and better the more i listen to it.everyone should check it out.see yaal at the webster theatre.dont forget about the rubdown you stoners!
Dub Side is blah. Why does everyone insist on covering that one album? I would have been much more impressed if they covered a Zappa or Mahavishnu album as reggae, or maybe all of Beethoven\'s 5th symphony.
I got to hear the album last night. Personally I thought it was a very creative and insightful version of a classic album....
Sick reggae all over the album....
beautiful interpretation IMO
Does it go along with Wizard of Oz? thatd be cool.
it certainly does go along with the wizard of oz.i havent done it yet but i read on the bands website that it does.who wants to come by and try it?
