Anybody know that 90\'s alternative-ish band called Caviar? They wrote a song called Tangerine Speedo, and I listen to it constantly.
Other way shway 90\'s bands:
Nada Surf
Fun Lovin\' Criminals
Presidents of the United States of America
*BECK
*OASIS
Butthole Surfers
Smashing Pumpkins
Dishwalla
Collective Soul
Feel free to discuss.
Don\'t remember the 90\'s.
i have never heard of caviar, but smashing pumpkins are my favorite band of all time after the breakfast. i never really even listened to music that much until i got into those guys. jimmy chamberlin is the serest drummer that i have ever heard and i just cant get enough of his playing. at least the first 4 pumpkins albums should be in everyone\'s collection.
Don\'t remember? Dude, I was in 5th grade and I remember singing "Peaches" by Presidents of the USofA every day at lunch with my fruit cup.
"Kitty on my foot and I want to touch it" Presidents was THE
****!!!!!
i used to listen to pusa when i was 14. i met the guitarist and he promised to send me a copy of their second album before it was released. for some reason i never got it and i never listened to them again after that. probably because mellon collie and the infinite sadness didnt leave my cd player for about 3 years.
Mellon Collie is still constantly spinnin for me.
Millions of peaches, peaches for free.. remember how big a deal it was when they came out with the extended video with the extra ninja fight scene or somethin.
Beck/Oasis were great always. !Odelay!
surprised no mention of Dookie. that was huge for me in 4th grade, remember laughing my ass off over and over at the \'hidden track\' about
****. "I was all by myself, noone was looking, I was thinking of you."
but never heard of Caviar, id have to hear a song and maybe itd ring a bell from my childhood.
how about Soundgarden or The Spin Doctors too. "Black Hole Sun" is classic, reminds of my 4th grade bowling league.
**** i could go all day. "Regulator" by Warren G was like a summer anthem for me and this total trouble maker i hung out with in grade school. listened to snoop a lot too when i was a youngen. i guess these are the reasons i called people
**** rags at such a ripe young age.

Holy
**** gordo....you sure you aren\'t talking about my childhood!?!
so many bands, and so few were able to stand the test of time..
two that did are Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, both of which continue to be in my top 5 favorite bands of all time.
others not yet mentioned, who took up a shitload of airtime for be back in the day - Stone Temple Pilots, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Weezer...
and other random, off the top of my head bands - Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Alice In Chains, Sponge, Gin Blossoms, Better Than Ezra, +LIVE+, Luscious Jackson, Our Lady Peace, Veruca Salt, Garbage.................
ahhhhh the 90s....
can\'t forget about....Bush, The Verve Pipe, Reel Big Fish (still kickin\' it!), Goldfinger, Local H, Spacehog, Silverchair, Athenaeum, Stabbing Westward, Candlebox.....to name a few more.
The 104fests at Riverside (now Six Flags New England) were the
****!!!
now its starting to get cheesey. i hate to see bush, local h, goldfinger and spacehog all mentioned before radiohead, blur, cake, foo fighters, and flaming lips
spacehog???/ weren\'t they a one hit wonder???
many of the bands mentioned above were one hit wonders. doesn\'t make\'em bad bands. if the pop charts were the all knowing tell of great bands, wouldn\'t the grateful dead be considered a one hit wonder?
