If I were a Lakers fan I\'d be concerned with Billups after Fisher and Farmar got abused by Brooks. I also wouldn\'t get too excited about Bynum. He had a few nice games when he was mostly being guarded by 6\'6" Chuck Hayes. Nene and the Birdman are going give him and Gasol hell.

On the upside for LA Kobe\'s got to be thrilled to leave Battier and Artest behind. He\'ll go for 45+ in Game 1.

Denver in 7.

Cleveland in 5.

I\'ll take that over Anthony/Billups anyday.

i didn\'t think it was all that great.. basically it was kobe just doing commentary on a game against the spurs from last year. would\'ve been cooler to see him doing everyday things, rather than just watching a game, which we see him do all the time.

It was an awesome piece if you\'re a Laker or Kobe fan. It was great to hear him talk about how they do things and how/why he takes certain shots.

Now being a Laker/Kobe fan for years I already knew alot of this stuff but the cool thing was watching the next Laker game and whenever Kobe would do something he talked about in the piece you could totally see it happening in that game.

I loved the unique views from the court and the ability to hear all the chatter. That is not something you see all the time in broadcasts.

Why would you want to see Kobe doing everyday things?
That **** is boring even doing them yourself.

But like that Nike commercial says, people don\'t like Kobe because of his swagger, his fadeaway and his hunger. That must be it.

it was cool to hear him talk... that game wasn\'t the best representation of him though. spike said kobe did the voiceover right after scoring 61 points against the knicks this past winter. too bad they didn\'t capture that game for the documentary.

Lakers need to realize Lebron is not going to let them come back like this and need to get to work now or they\'ll be second best again.

I hear ya Leith, but I\'ll worry about the Cavs if and when they beat the Magic. Meanwhile, Lakers can\'t look past this Nuggets\' team, which seems far more talented than Houston, and thus need to take the 2-0 lead back to Denver.

But about Game 1, Lakers got out slowly, but unlike their subpar efforts in Houston, showed resilience by rallying down 13 early and down seven late. Outstanding game for Kobe with 18 in the fourth. Fisher gets back in the mix (finally) with some key three\'s. Ariza\'s steal seals it. Well, it should have, but give Billups credit for hitting that fall-away three (even though he had clearly stepped out of bounds). Fouling up three with seconds left could have **** the Lakers had Denver got an offensive rebound and hit a two or three after the intentionally missed free throw, but alas, Kobe finishes it with the offensive board.

Most thrilling victory of the playoffs yet for a Lakers\' fan.

Maybe this isn\'t news to you Celtics\' fans, but I was just doing my yearly "look and the draft from three years ago and see who is officially a bust", and I noticed the following:

The Phoenix Suns drafted Rajon Rondo with the 20th overall pick and traded him to the Celtics for a 2007 first round pick (other players were involved, but that\'s the heart of the deal). Phoenix used that pick to draft Rudy Fernandez, who was dealt on draft day to Portland for cash considerations.

So, while the logic here is far from flawless, the Celtics essentially traded Rudy Fernandez to the Trailblazers for Rajon Rondo. Great job, Phoenix.

I\'m sure most of you could give two ****, but I think looking at drafts in retrospect is far more useful than handing out "draft grades" the next day, before anybody has played a game.

And FYI, Greg Oden has one more year before he becomes a bust.

I watched the first quarter at work then biked home as the Cavs were clearly holdin\' it down. Very surprised to check the final score and see the Cavs down 0-1 at home.
