  The story of this bootleg is that John McLaughlin considered this one of the Orchestra\'s greatest performances. Funny how that happens during an opening set. He presented it to Columbia Records for release as a live album. They sent an engineer, and asked his recording tech to assist in the mixing of the album. A copy was sent for his approval, which was given, but Columbia Records has never done anything with the material.
