after a good 15 listens to the album today,i think its really good.
no epic jams,by any means,but some very well crafted tunes.
the title track=my favorite.

Glad to see people coming around on joy. That song rocked me to my core the first time i heard it, and ive listened to it a hundred times already. Truly one of those magical songs that makes phish that much more special a la if i could, bug and lifeboy. Nothing crazy, just pure heart and soul. Love it. Instant classic.

pick any 4 seconds of Split Open and Melt and it craps all over this whole album.

IMO.

I love Phish. But this new stuff just isn\'t really up to par. It\'s their fault for being so awesome in general.

I\'ll bet I\'m in the same boat. Took the new songs I heard last month with a grain of salt.

Much more excited for the forthcoming Breafast release.

i will have to listen to this tune a lot more. i remember not being into it AT ALL the first couiple times i heard it, but i\'ll give it a second chance. i\'m waiting to hear it on cd tho

Paul, weve known each other for like 4 years now. How do you not know about my love for the song bug? Its glory is something ive ranted about on several occasions, just as i will now rant about joy for years to come

when they encored it at darien i nearly puked/shat myself. the album version is pretty good tho. doesnt touch light though

I did. It was on a tape though.

Not sure if I replaced it with a disc. I can check at home but that could take a year.
