He must be stopped!!!!  Every recording I\'ve listened to in recent history has been tarnished by the whistling guy!!  A couple of times on the last Porter\'s recording, it completely drowns out the band.  It was really annoying at moe.down, too.  I understand his excitement for the band but someone has to take the whistle away.  I love to hear the crowd going nuts and I hoot and holler a lot but this guy is just too good at whistling, and at the same whistling sequence,........tweeeet.....tweeeet.....tweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!  Its too loud man, you\'re f\'n the tape up.

Hahahaha...The wistle is really loud on the Acoustic cafe disks...I find myself having to turn it down at some parts. It makes me smile though, The wistle will never stop!

there was a dark period in my life when I wasn\'t going to a lot of shows.  But when I streamed them and heard the whistles, well, I knew all was right in the world.

yeah, its def an acquired taste, but now i can\'t bear listening to a breakfast show w/o the whistle or the YEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH.  Its music to my ears.

I will simply add that you all know how I feel about this.

It must be stopped. 1x -3x a show OK I can deal but prior, during and after each song is too much

I really have a hard time listening to any of the shows I have recorded since Beardslee castle Memorial Day Weekend.

It is like **** nails on a chalk board.

Can\'t he mix it up a little. maybe a "hell ya" or some nice quiet giant punching ?

The man is a legend and rightfully so.  I think it is great that he gets so excited he cannot contain his "Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh\'s" and his whistles(or his sweat for that matter).  Long live that sexy beast whomever he may be.

Or better yet he mentioned on the board that he will be viewing shows in front of SAVE. I say we just have dobz crank the Bass AMP onstage and drown it out. That way everybody wins. More Ron and Less whistler. :)

I mainly have a problem with it when it passes my pain threshold.... You are not the first person to start a thread on this topic... I think we are stuck with the mysterious whistler.
