any chance the "powers that be" can get some sort of superbill booked at the Warehouse.  something along the lines of Raq/ Breakfast/ Kung Fu.  Last time there they had Beatles A to Z and kicking daisies playing.  they even got a side room so you could get the Indobox or some **** to play in there.  I dunno, just thinking out loud.

I think these band all have the ability to pull fans, but we spend more time competing than getting together with peer bands(not perennial openers).

maybe i should change the title to Dear Breakfast: more cobills.  I see enough 1 set shows when they are opening to a couple no name acts, might as well bring in more fans and play with known groups like umelt, the macpodz, the brew and the aforementioned.

but yeah, the warehouse should go down again.

thats a great idea. i know theyve played there a few times. i\'d bet a bRAQfast show would draw a decent crowd. not sure breakfast/kung fu would fill that venue yet... which is unfortunate!

Personally, I thought the place sucked, especially the sound.

given the venues that hold about that capacity in ct, your pretty much limited to the warehouse, the webster or toads place.  i think the sound in the webster is awful, i cant really comment on the sound at the warehouse. ive only been there once to see the new deal but it wasn\'t anything special. definitely built for raves and that atmosphere imo. and toads, well, its toads place. in anycase id go where ever to see them!

get 600 people in there and the sound will be good. the last time they were there was a dooze and you need people in that room for acoustic dampening.

all three of those venues are just caverns with no attempt at acoustic dampening.  No people, bad sound.

well, we could just borrow some blow-up dolls...who\'s got our heady blowup dolls for dampening the acoustics???

Or, who has a crapload of friends they aren\'t letting on about?

I\'ll take Daniel Street or Sully\'s over the big 3 anyday.

I\'ve always wondered why they haven\'t played the red door. It\'s a great place, and it\'s the club I grew up in seeing live music.  I think it would be a great match and it might get me back out to see a show..lol
