hey gordo: is there a chance you can send those cds over aim so I can hand them out at some shows. im much do lazy to make my own copies.
hey ruj, i know you made mention of that awhile ago.. ive been super busy but im gonna figure out the aim business in the next couple days so i can get em to you..
but ill ask again, anyone know if its even possible to compine those 2 separate tracks for escher\'s on BF as one? itd make a huge improvement on EPIC.. orrr does anyone know if theres ever been an extremely short escher\'s somewhere in Breakfast history?
Great Idea about those mix discs. Ive been kicking my own ass about not making some of my own to give to people who have never heard of The Breakfast. I\'ve been
passing out both cafe 9 shows from August of 04. Oh yeah, How are you guys?

i\'m good. good shows, although the recordings are full of the insanely high pitched whistling of gencs. sometimes its louder than the music, haha.
Get your burner fixed, Gordo? My brother keeps insisting he needs more Bfast material ever since I burned him his first show (the Lafayette show) last weekend (even though he knows how to use BitTorrent and is a computer graphics major...you\'d think he could do it himself).
Has anyone else attempted to make a Breakfast sampler disc? I know the original idea was Gordo\'s but I believe that if more people attempted to make a disc and pass it out we could cover more ground. I am currently working on a sample disc, with the motivation and influence from Gordo, but nothing like his because it wouldn\'t be fair to him.

thanks buddy. it would be fair though, and i take it as a compliment. i agree, more people should come up with their own samplers with material that really grabs them personally, drop a line to the people you dish it out to like "track three 5 minutes in.... holy
**** youll flip!" i also found that people need to hear EPIC first, or at least the big tunes, to grab hold when listening to their simpler (but not by any other band\'s standards!) rock or funk songs. Rufus still seems to be the undeniable noob favorite.
oh and kate, picked up my burner two days ago, they will be in the mail on monday morning.. i was gonna do it today but i broke my face last night.
I was thinking, about making a sampler, just for Breakfast Sandwiches from the past tour, entitled, The Breakfast, Sandwiches, Tasty grooves from the Real Radio tour. Kinda cheesy but, you get the point. I have a bunch of considerations as to what will make it on the disc but nothing finalized.
"Breakfast Sandwiches"
perfect.
off the top of my head id go with some Score>Crosstown>Score, Mooboo\'s>No Quarter>Mooboo\'s, orrrrrr the Gladys>Score>Gladys>Score and Puppetry>Mooboo\'s>WUIAC>Mooboo\'s>Puppetry.. sooo many great tasty sandwiches though, so many.
good thinkin Spacey, itd show off their unmatchable jamming abilities.
Right on, Gordo! I have all of those on the list. Going to listen to a bunch of them and see what ones really show of their talent.
Thanks, Gordo...I think these will really help. It\'s been hard for me to promote the band when I\'m not all that familiar with them.
kate, by wednesday youll be able to promote your buns off... by the way, im giving you the improved EPIC now w/Buquebus, minus Language Of The Gods.
^^^^^^^^^^i take that back, having a problem with my Deuce right now, sooo looks like youre gonna have to buy the best studio album ever to hear it.
I usally let people listen to live shows, then studio recording (Real Radio).
(100th post)
OMG Gordo, got my samplers in the mail today. THANK YOU SO MUCH! These are great! I\'m headed out to get a stack of blank CDRs right now so I can do pass-outs at the Widespread Panic show next month...
uberheadiness = confirmed
The Rufus on "Epic"?!?! :jawdrop: :holyshit:
