Ron I\'m with you man, some songs aren\'t meant to be broken up. Escher\'s Etchings and MooboosVoodoo have been getting split up lately and IMO it totally breaks the groove. Chase also didn\'t work well when I heard it split up.

Now, as they proved in Northampton a few months back Rufus can be split up all kinds of ways and it makes a badass show!

Depends on the song. If a segue leaves you thinking, "WTF just happened to my favorite song?" that\'s not a good thing. But if a segue serves to spread the energy throughout the show and the whole thing is a coherent concept, that\'s what its all about.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

on 3/30 they went Mooboo\'s>Doughboy>Mooboo\'s and i thought it was incredible. they built the slow jam in the start perfectly into the intro to Doughboy, came out of it so nice and when i heard those fournotes of Mooboo come back (right before "ahhhhh, and im so sad") i was losing my ****. it was **** awesome. i also requested Mooboo\'s before the show when i was talking to Tim, and trust me i wasnt upset that they \'broke up\' one of my faves that i requested, i was psyched with how well they pulled off the segs. actually, they do the same thing on 3.12.04 Porter\'s, the best DVD show ever.

i see what youre saying, but i needed to counteract because of personal experience still fresh in my pants.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

lol yeah like any victory lasts long on this board. I really don\'t see it as such I\'m just glad that one of the most rabid detractors of sending money to the site finally caved. If being a dartboard for awhile helped accomplish this I am fine w/ that.

Mooboo\'s>No Quarter>Voodoo insanely perfect w/ no breakup of the groove. It works so well it\'s ridiculous. When they pull segues off to the point where you need to relisten to it to actually pinpoint song changes is where this band stands seperate from most other bands today.

If you have finally learned that lesson, it has taken approximately two years to sink in.

Maybe just a little freaked out by the total removal of everything that smells like Joe?
