..and no manager or booking agent, or record label, how does the promotion get done to sell this album. Im sure everyone here will be buying it and probably a bunch of other people, but with Tim and Ron trying to book gigs, play shows, record in the studio etc etc and manage the band i fear that the new release wont get the promotion it deserves and the people that need to have stuff in their magazine or newsletters (such as Relix who puts together the issue almost 3 months in advance) wont. I know the cd will be a fukin brilliant collection of songs and a true representation of how good they are but i just hope people across the country are aware that they can buy it this time and its not another Bona Flop.
They still have a label. They still have people working with them on all of these matters, although Tim and Ron are the ones booking shows. Dont worry, they have a plan for all of this and promotional wheels are already turning.
And yes, this is going to be a kick ass album! In my opinion it is shapping up to surpass Deuce as there best album, and they\'re not even half done with it yet.
when is the new album projected to be released?
i hear ya paul. not too worried, just hopin people near and far are lookin forward to this release and buy the damn thing. the music speaks for itself. i think its projected to come out in mid september?
yea september/october release party with a tour to follow at some point is what I\'ve heard.
Their future really depends on this album... Or maybe not. But it could be huge.

You\'re right, it could be huge. Their future really really depends on the new manager though. No maybes about that.
Their future really depends on them. A new album can help but I feel the guys need to reevaluate their desire to be a National touring act. The last few months have been disorienting from afar, it must have been a maelstorm there. The fact that they still play small holes w/ little draw in what should be their "stomping grounds" is disturbing and hopefully they pick a new manager who has some experience production along w/ marketing. An album sold only @ gigs and to diehard fans is not what they need again for sure, especially when it promises to be full of material even mainstream fans of rock can enjoy IMO.
Leith, I seriously think you should handle all west coast bookings for the band. It seems like you could put together a nice little mini-tour for them. Or at least be able to point them in the right direction to getting seen by the right people in the right towns and in the right clubs.
LOL That\'s a good one. I don\'t think the guys want me involved in anything other than running lights when they are out here if that. Yeah I could point them in the direction of better clubs but as they have mentioned to me before"Let\'s sell out these places a couple times before we think of bigger clubs." Well I think the last 2 times through S.D. and L.A. were pretty friggin\' packed. I am looking for 2 nights in L.A. in the fall. I think they could pull a decent draw @ 2 different venues or even though it is tiny tiny 2 nights in a row @ 14 below would be dank!
