Ron is not really leaving the band. It\'s just a publicity stunt to pack the last few shows of 2007, fueled by a desire to sell out their hometown venue.

The Breakfast will host its first festival 2-day camping festival, BreakFest 2008, in the Little Falls, NY region. Helping with administrative aspects and sponsoring the event is Beardslee Castle. Tentatively confirmed to appear is RAQ, U-Melt, Ryan Montbleau Band and The Bridge. More bands and information will be announced in the next few months. The festival is slated for August 22nd-24th.

Few more rumors hot off the press:

The Breakfast will release a new album entitled the "The Departing Arrival" for release in October 2008. All new songs will be included, all with the new bassist.

The Buquebus saga will be completed. We all might start to understand what the hell is going on.

To support the Buquebus saga completion and the new album, The Breakfast will have a 3 month national tour starting sometime in October and arriving home for NYE.

National meaning the country as a whole. Though most of the effort will be concentrated in established markets.

well whether or not there is any initiative to make it happen I am down to start some or help in anyway possible.

BFest 2008 must happen. Six Sets Minimum.

we should hold it in the berkshires and people will think its Berkfest Fest \'08 and the draw will be astronomical :lol:

So since I can\'t make it I am gonna let the cat out of the bag.
Super Secret PB show on the 30th.

The top 10 posters were allowed to send in 3 songs for the setlist which the band would go over and I know for a fact Kote is on the decided setlist.

If you know this group you will know who to pester at Toad\'s tomorrow night to get into this show.
