How can you guys think Vera St. even comes CLOSE to stacking up against IG & Doughboy?!?!? They don\'t even rock out a little on this song........ you saps!
I also love Question Mark. yes, I am a sap through and through!
Hey Mr Marcial....
Opinions are like
**** and I think yours stinks!!!!!!
Vera doesnt rock like IG or Doughboy, but as far as my "favorite" new song, I go with the mature, lyrical, and snappy Vera St...
agree with marcial about vera street (insert fart noise here).

also agree with chris - i consider everything from gravity/sleeping beauty onward to be new.. you have to consider the serious lull with new tunes that was going on before this..
I went with Doughboy. But had Gravity been included, it definitely would have my vote.
On a slightly related note, isn\'t it weird how certain songs get linked together? Gravity/Sleeping Beauty and Inner Glimpse/Dimension 5 will always be linked in our minds because they debuted at the same show.

Very true. I have the same mental connection with Cosmic, Great Big, and Dig. I personally like the new \'batch\' better than the last one, but if you include Eschers in the last than it becomes a close one.
Vera st is a hell of a song, yet doesnt compare to the others. However, Marcial, Question Mark is a grand tune to say the least.
I would put WPOAC in with Cosmic, TGBFBITS, and Dig
I missed out on that round of new tunes. I started listening at roughly the very beginning of the aforementioned "13 month drought" of new originals (04/19/2002). So the only songs I have ever considered new are Gravity, Sleeping Beauty and everything after.
can i revote? i was a little hasty in voting for doughboy (i really like the song alot...the bassline is a great driving force...could have real potential to hook some new fans) BUT i just listened to doughboy and inner glimpse back to back...INNER GLIMPSE i think edges it out...especially once it gets cooking. the different sections really make it much more fun and interesting...yeah, it\'s a better song.
IG gets my vote - just - over Doughboy, though it\'s been a couple of weeks since I heard it. Went away on holiday and the bloody portable CD player wouldn\'t play any of my show discs; it just packed up. Still gave me the chance to reacquaint myself with Deuce again.
The last few Inner Glimpse\'s I have heard were monsters!! Doughboy is right there. No Regret is gettin\' better and all should give D5 a decent chance.
