If you want to help promo, contact the promo company and they will send you materials.
That is why they were hired. To manage the band and to promote the band.
I did. They sent me hundreds of tiny handouts which I have no use for, as I\'m not going to any rock concerts in the next couple weeks. And they sent me only 4 useful-sized posters for the Iron Horse show, but they have spelling mistakes and look like they were thrown together in an early version of Microsoft paint. Not to mention they clearly used web-resolution artwork so it\'s all pixelated and artifacted.
As a graphic designer / ad guy, these aren\'t something I want to put up around town to represent my favorite band. So I\'m trying to make something quality.
The best thing you can do is email the promotion company and let them know what is useless and useful. That way time is not being wasted nor are resources.

It is time we make a collective effort as fans to give this band the respect the deserve and earned. If we don\'t believe, they won\'t succeed.
We can all do our part by doing what we can, something simple, easy and small. It can be handing out fliers, passing out discs or telling stories or something. Concentrate our focus and we will succeed.
